I'm alive!

Just writing to let everyone know that I haven't jumped off the roof or booked my flight home :) The past couple of days have actually been much better - I think I just needed that rant below to get some things off my chest and balance myself out a bit.

Teej and I were tourists this week and visited an old church downtown called the Nikolaikapelle, or the St. Nicholas Chapel. It was bombed during the WWII attacks here and the ruins were left as a memorial just like the Aegidienkirche that I posted pictures of before. I obviously wanted to learn a little bit about the history of it and found that this church is the oldest building in Hannover. It was built in 1284 as a separate church for the lepers and  the poor of Hannover because they were not allowed over a wall that separated them from the rest of society. Here are some pictures, and I'll write again soon.
