I'm baaaaaack!

Obviously things look a little different around here, do you like the changes? Taking a (forced, thanks AT+T!) break from blogging for the past week has allowed me to organize my thoughts and decide on a change of direction for this little blog of mine - so stay tuned for fun new features to come this week :)

We've been in Texas for eight days and are quickly adjusting to hockey life. TJ hasn't played a game since late March - he's had a long seven month offseason, so I am actually excited to see him take the ice.

There is a great group of girls here and our apartment is ahh-mazing. It's a little empty and plain right now, but I'm looking forward to filling it up little by little and making it feel more like home.

Come on in.

  3. Looks like a very spacious and comfortable place! Soo nice to be the firsts to live there. I'm really not enjoying finding brown hair around our place...stuck in the crevices...maybe I should ask my husband about that? Ha, just kidding! Enjoy Texas, good luck this season, and can't wait to read all the new babbles you have in store for us!!

  8. @Erin - Well, I keep finding little white Brutus hairs all over the place so we're breaking the new place in quite nicely :)

    @Birgit - The tub is unreal, I was completely shocked. The counter space in the kitchen is a nice treat, I don't have to use the window ledges anymore like I did in Hannover :x

    @Chrissy - I miss you lady! Danke :)

    @Missy - Isn't it great? This is the nicest one we've had yet - definitely appreciating it. xo

  9. Ok. I so DON'T want to be stalker,creepy, but it looks like you live in the apartments across from mine. Although I could quite possibly be wrong since a lot of apartments have the same look to them. Anyways, cute place, none the less! Glad you're loving Texas :)

  15. I live in Houston, so nope must just be an apartment complex that looks really similar to the ones next to me.

    Our pup is an 8lb Shih-Tzu, so people crack up when they hear the name Brutus THINKING he's a big, bad dog. Nah, he's a little baby. My boyfriend graduated from Ohio State though and their mascot is "Brutus" so, that's what sold us!

    Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. Enjoy your week! :)

  18. @Kristen - LOL I love that! If you're ever in the area or vice versa we should get the Brutty's together to play :)

    @Heather - Oh, you know it. Little sneak. He passed out from 6am-4pm yesterday + clearly needed sleep so I felt bad kicking him off for a photoshoot of the apartment lol.

    @Megan - Thank you thank you thank you :) Haha - While I appreciate this apartment so much I do miss the simplicity of Germany just a bit. Hope you're enjoying Norway. xo
