This Is Happening In My Life.

Teej is off to Timbucktoo Somewhere USA for a weekend of roadtrips and I'm so happy I could do cartwheels. For whatever reason, it's very difficult for me to focus on much of anything while he is here.

(It might be the NHL '13 or FIFA commentators constantly talking in my living room, but I haven't quite pinpointed the root cause yet.)

Brutus and I are excited for our weekend together, it's going to look a little bit like this:

Have you started to decorate for the holidays yet?
Do you have any plans for the weekend?

  2. I love those three frames! I have no plans yet but we'll probably buy some Christmas decorations. It's our first Christmas in our home and we're more than excited to decorate our place OUR way ;)

  3. I started decorating for Xmas. Presents are already under the tree. You should see this month's Better Homes & Gardens. I'm going to make that wreath on the cover for my door. Next week, I'm taking the day off to buy a turkey (from Target) ;) and get all the trimmings going. I'm also going to pick up another tree w/ lights, Xmas cards, more Xmas presents...you know...the regular festive stuff.

Btw, I need to show you what I did as a DIY for the home. Cheap, simple artwork on canvas...looks amazing.

  5. So I have a few things out for Thanksgiving/Fall... but nothing Christmas yet. Probably won't until Thanksgiving. We have company coming and it's just easier to do after they're all gone. Hoping to take some photos this weekend!!! Whoot!

  7. I love the idea of the calendar and bucket list. I have to make my own advent calendar at some point, sadly there is no one to make it for this year. I have a LA bucket list that I have been neglecting lately, but I hope I can change that soon! Enjoy your weekend with the pooch!
