I (don't) Like To Eat, Eat, Eat, Apples and Ba-na-na's

“This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and FruitsMax but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #fruitsmax
I have a confession to make: I hardly (read: NEVER) eat the recommended amount of fruits that we're supposed to consume each day ... and it sometimes makes me feel like a hypocrite because I genuinely enjoy promoting and living (a somewhat) healthy lifestyle. The problem is that I'm like a two year old and I really only like two fruits: raspberry and pineapple, which makes getting the recommended amount of fruits (which is 4-5 servings each day) somewhat difficult. There are honestly days upon days where I go without eating fruit ... so when I was asked if I'd like to review the whole foods supplement FruitsMax, I obviously jumped at the body beneficial opportunity to do so.

I honestly can't believe that the little FruitsMax pills combines the powers of 21 different fruits, but they do. Lyophilization is the technology used to make the supplement, which extracts only the water out of the fruits, leaving the vitamins and minerals untouched. Cool, huh?

Ever since we returned home from Germany, both TJ and I have been increasingly more aware of the added chemicals and CRAP that goes into our foods here in the States. Have you seen this article floating around the interwebs that lists the 10 Foods Sold In The U.S. That Are Banned Elsewhere? Give it a read. The fact that FruitsMax has ZERO added anything gives these supplements the biggest stamp of approval in my book.

Both TJ and I have been taking FruitsMax for the past two weeks, and I truly feel better knowing that we are both getting the very important vitamins and nutrients that we both need. TJ obviously needs to keep his body in tip top shape for every hockey game, and FruitsMax is the perfect solution to help him live a healthier lifestyle.

Since I've been taking the supplement each day I've noticed that I've been able to pull myself out of bed earlier in the morning ... and this past flight home was the first time that I've ever not picked up some funky sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching sickness from that delicious re-circulated airplane air. I thank FruitsMax for that.

FruitsMax is currently having a special promotion where you can get your very own bottle for FREE (minus shipping and handling) so if you're interested in testing out this supplement yourself, head on over to their website for more details! You can also follow FruitsMax on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest and Instagram for upcoming promotions and deals!

Do you eat the recommended amount of fruits each day?

  2. I never eat the recommended dose... Only during the summer. It's way too expensive here in winter, so I definitely lack vitamins... Maybe I should start taking vitamins! I just never found "good" ones that weren't the Flinstones vitamins!

  7. I know I don't get the recommended amount of fruits daily either. I'm picky like you too and when I do buy fruits it goes bad so fast that I can't eat it all and then I get mad I wasted the money. I'm checking these supplements out now!

  8. Not every single day, but about 90% of the time. I like fruit though, so it's not an issue. Glad you found something that works for you :)

  9. I am a vegetarian but I tend to eat a lot more vegetables than fruit. My bf just loves fruit so I get more helpings when I'm at his place. Thanks for the tip! I try to eat smoothies to get in more fruit, but this is definitely a quick fix for most of the days when I just don't feel like eating all the good stuff I should.

  10. I don't think my stomach can hold enough food to get all the necessary fruit and veggie servings in a day haha. And that banned food article? Makes me want to just stop eating pretty much any food I've ever seen. It's scary that we just can't trust any of the food we eat anymore unless we grow it ourselves.
