The First Eight Things That Pop Into My Brain

#1. I just spilled hot coffee on my back.

#2. TJ's been playing hockey for the past seven years and we finally just took a photo on the ice after a game together. Clearly it had to be documented.

#3. I've been a really shitastic blogger lately and haven't responded to comments or read anyone else's blog in over a week. Blogger Guilt is real, y'all.

#4. I went shooting with my dad last night! Multiple four letter words were had.

#5. I am very excited for hot chocolate and marshmallows and snow. There, I said it.

#6. Mr. Fox has 12 more days to reach his Movember goal of $500. He's currently raised $275 for men's health and we appreciate everyone's support so much! (ps - does he look like a creepster or what?)

#7. Christmas is FIVE weeks away. Have you started shopping yet?

#8. This post literally took two hours to write. Clearly it's been a slow morning.

Kym

    3. I work at Starbucks and I'm no stranger to getting coffee spilled on me, but I've never done it on my back. Here's a scenario I could imagine. Kym puts her coffee on her desk. She crawls underneath to plug something in or mess with cables and pulls the cable for the keyboard. Her sharp motion causes the keyboard to knock over her coffee cup, which spills on the desk and splashes her back. (Ouch, by the way. Hope you're okay.) Maybe that's why it took her two hours, because she had to clean up…?

    4. I'M SPECIAL, THAT'S WHY!!

hahaha ... no, but really ... I was sitting on the couch half asleep with an oversized coffee mug tucked into the couch/my side ... there is a terrorist cat who resides here at my parents house and she jumped on my neck so I jolted forward, thus spilling the coffee all over my back and the couch. Fun times!!

    1. I purchased something for TJ that he absolutely NEEDS ... I think everyone else is getting a DIY project. From the heart means so much more to me than a shiny new item or pricetag!!

  7. You and TJ are too adorbs for words. Also, how did you spill coffee on your BACK? Were you drinking it upside down? I'm confused.

    1. DONE?! I am so jealous! Gift giving gives me anxiety!! Ugh, I have emails from a good 3 or 4 weeks ago that I have yet to respond to. I created a "RESPOND TO ASAP" folder that I move all important emails to, but that clearly should be re-named "THE FORGOTTEN". Whoopsies!

  14. Love the new blog design! So simple and pretty. I think it's perfectly ok if you are slacking at blogging if that means you are out living life! And don't remind me about Christmas shopping, I despise it. Don't get me wrong, I love giving gifts. But I like giving really great, thoughtful gifts and sometimes at Christmas we just end up giving something just to give it.

    1. Thank you Miss Mackenzie <3 I 100% agree with you about what Christmas gift giving has turned into. When we lived in Germany and I couldn't really mail anything heavy or big, I mailed home CDs for each person that had songs that reminded me of them, and they all loved it! Small, meaningful gifts like that mean so much more than fancy price tags.

  19. I'm super jealous of #5; and I'm more scared by the fact that Christmas is 5 weeks away, than I am of the 'stache.
And no, no shopping yet. Though I got good advice:
"One thing they want, one thing they need, One thing they'll wear, & one thing they'll read!"
Santa will double this, and Christmas, on a budget, with a trip to Disneyland will be complete! :)

  20. I'm scared! Christmas is too close and I've barely done anything! Ahhh! And um, how did you spill coffee down your back?
