That's The Way I Roll

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Cottonelle, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #CottonelleHoliday http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO

Never in a billion years did I think that I'd ever write a blog post here that talks explicitly about toilet paper, however when I was home visiting my family of six and I was invited to head to Target to pick up and review a pack of the Cottonelle Triple Roll, it was an offer that I simply couldn't refuse.

That's the way I roll.

You see, my family goes through a LOT of toilet paper. Between four females, two males, and four bathrooms ... when I say a lot, I mean a lot, lot. And even though none of them fully understand this whole blogging gig, nor could they exactly figure out why I was taking photos of toilet paper rolls in front of the Christmas tree, they were all very appreciative to be introduced to their new favorite toilet paper.

Anthony asked, "So ... like ... what do you blog about? Just what you do all day? Is this picture going to make me famous?" ... not quite, buddy, not quite :)
My dad is kind of what you would call a Toilet Paper Connoisseur. Cottonelle has always been the brand that he turns to because of it's soft and thick quality (as demonstrated by Clyde the Elf down below, when he came through my parent's home like a wrecking ball), and my dad was pleasantly surprised to find that the Triple Roll really does supply three times the amount of paper when compared a regular roll. This is obviously super important when you have a large family during a busy holiday season where guests are constantly visiting, eating, drinking, and using the potty.

Let's get real for a minute: Who really wants to be refilling the toilet paper spindle when you should be refilling the bevvies and snack bowls and enjoying your holiday party?

No one, that's who.

And I don't know about you, but I've never once took into account how many rolls of TP I had stored in the cabinet while previously preparing for a holiday party.

What happens if you run out of toilet paper mid way through entertaining? That would be a really poopy situation, wouldn't it? Pun intended.

So make sure that you stock up now for the busy holiday season by heading to your nearest Target to purchase a 12 pack of the Cottonelle Triple Roll. BONUS!: If you use this coupon you'll receive a FREE box of Kleenex, while supplies last.

And because you read through this whole entire post that talks about toilet paper, I wanted to leave you with a super simple DIY ornament that you can create with the empty rolls from your Triple Pack. They take about five minutes to make, and can remind you for years to come of all of the people who have passed through your home this holiday season. Did I just take that too far??

Lightly flatten the roll and slice 1/4 inch cuts into it. Arrange four strips as shown above, gluing them together at the center. Decorate with sequins if you wish, and knot a ribbon or twine through one of the loops to hang on your tree.

Bloggers: Does your family understand blogging or do they just think you're a big weirdo, too?
